Arena Construction

We have many threads on bidding and politics of the arena, but nothing discussing the actual construction going on...

As seen on the far left of the following picture, the raker beams for the upper deck are starting to appear. The top of this beam is roughly 78ft from the ground (on the north side). That leaves another 42ft to the top of  the arena roof and even taller for decorative elements such as the the glass wall.  Keep in mind when viewing the arena that ground level is about 24ft higher on the south side as it is on the north side.

So basically, the highest point of the arena is about 7 stories with an eventual height of closer to 12 (if viewed from the north, 5 and 12 if viewed from the south.) The outside perimeter will also be about 65ft further out than the existing footprint.
