Doubleshot Duathlon

My friend Brian, owner of Doubleshot Coffee Company and (coffee giant slayer), is sponsoring a unique event in Tulsa this Sunday: The first ever Doubleshot Duathlon...The weather is expected to be nice on Sunday (we hope) but the course should be sufficiently muddy, so even if you don't want to ride and run, come watch some kick a$$ mountain bikers get dirty on Turkey Mountain, one of the largest Urban Wilderness preserves in the US of A, and the location of some of the best mountain biking in the midwest.

...did I mention there will be a beer tent?

We expect about 150 participants, so come have fun!

100% Off-Road singletrack

Course
Run and bike courses will be 100% singletrack.  Both 2mile runs will be fairly strenuous and technical, through the rocky, hilly dirt trails of Turkey Mountain (it's not really a mountain, just a hill).  It's mostly rolling, with some short, steep climbs and descents.  The 10mile bike section will be on the smoothest, fastest singletrack available at Turkey.  That doesn't mean it will be easy; and we highly recommend you come with knobby tires.  But if you are primarily a roadie or are new to mountain biking, this is a great race for you to get out and play in the dirt.  We will go up the hill, so start strengthening those quads!
We anticipate that everyone (beginner to expert) will have a lot of fun on this course.
