Yeah I kind of lost the connection on Aox's last post there. Had a hard time understanding the relationship between the two. But, considering my mental track record lately I just played it safe and kept my mouth shut.

You provide the perfect set up for this!

"a direct link between mental illness and support for President Bush."

Surely you jest aox. Some of this crap is just as bad as the stuff that Limbaugh spews to his devotees.

guido911

Are you kidding, the New Haven Advocate? Sounds like Urban Tulsa.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Haven_Advocate

I found this part of the article interesting. "The Advocates accept a wider variety of advertisements than mainstream newspapers, including ads for strip clubs, erotic massage services, adult book and video stores, etc., which columnists and readers have argued conflict with the newspapers' avowed feminism.."

BTW, what does that article have to do with your own hypocrisy? Oh, I know, the New Haven Advocate is also hypocritical.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

You guys get it, you just can't accept it.

One doesn't have to lie to be a disservice; misinformation can be a much more useful tool.

They can simply post ridiculous articles like the one above while in the same breath calling for all of the divisiveness to stop.

Misinformation is lying....I am really restraining myself....

Let's see .... New Haven vs. Tulsa local newspapers. Which one might just have better educated writers?

If you'll read my post I said misinformation can be a much more useful tool than lying. There is a difference between the two, imo.

Another snobbish opinion courtesy of aox. Since the writers come from New England they are surely more educated than the simple unwashed down here in Tulser, Okiehoma I suppose?

aoxamaxoa

YES....most definately. Yale rules over anything around here. Even if their legacies attract the mentally ill....even doedoe's and dope's.

RecycleMichael

According to the 2000 census....

In New Haven County, 27.6 percent of its 25+ population have bachelor's degrees or more.

In Tulsa County, 26.9 percent of its 25+ population have Bachelor's degrees or more.

If you know a 500 people in each town, four more of them would have degrees in New Haven.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Didn't Bush grad'iate from Yale? High standards there, I see.

Aox, a little advice; your somewhat condescending attitude only serves to alienate many people that agree with you much of the time. Can you take that kind of constructive criticism?
