That's okay.  tulitlikeitis doesn't live here.  He lives in Houston... he hated Tulsa so much for the 8 months he lived here, that he's been posting on TulsaNow for years under about a dozen different aliases... in other words, he hates Tulsa so much, he just can't stay away.  [;)]

Oh, and I guess we should all know how well renouned Houstonians are for their spelling prowess.  [}:)]

Sorry .I have to say when I was there in OK.I found everyone to be so friendly and kind there [:D]

Aww :-)... Be sure to let me know what you decide, if you need anyone to contact, and what your final decisions are! :-D

You seem like a very nice person Honeybee. Welcome to Tulsa!

Honeybee

Thank You  all so much for your kind words I just lost my Daddy coming up 1 yr. in Jan, and I am the youngest his Baby even though I am 44 it still hurts deeply to lose your Parent and I have been dealing with his passing and so many other things like moving to OK. I came here full of excitement at the thought of getting to chat with people from OK.Miles away to help me learn all I can about it and then I get slammed !! right off the bat by that Rude Man tulitikeitis!!!because I am from Ca. Oh afew words were not type right either so he thinks me and my Hubby have low IQ[;)] What a compleate Idiot!![^] .Thank you ,Snopes for the warm Welcome [:)]and Thanks USRufiner for shedding some light on Him for me.And to think he doesn't even live in Tulsa OK.  he must be the one that e-mailed me also asking me if I had lost my mind! and how he lived there 8 mo. and Hated it so bad they left so what is he doing here on this forum to let everyone know how much he hates it and put Ca. people down for wanting to move there .The Great thing is this because I live in Beautiful Ca. I have enough to pay Cash for a home there and live very well and I will never have to see this Man's face .If people think ugly of us because were coming from Ca. then there is something wrong with them . And then he told me You don't want to move there. How does he know what I want to do he has no Idea of who we are[:)] or who he is talking to I'm  new here and just  want to meet some people that really live in OK. to gain some insight on OK. but this guy is Horriable and Rude . tulitikeitis or what ever other name he is using .I found that everyone , I mean everyone[:D]in OK. was very kind to us [:D]DScott is a very kind person I have enjoyed looking at all the pics he has taken . Again Thank you for  Warm Welcomes [:X]Honeybee~~~~~~

tulitlikeitis is definitely not representative of the area. That is the only thing he agrees with us on. He puts in a lot of time trying to find new ways to get on here and start new users. I think he is up to 14 at this point.

He likes to criticize Tulsa and everyone in it without actually giving any information. As if that wasn't cheery enough, he likes attacking others which is against the rules. One that you would think he would figure out after 13 attempts to come here.

Either way, he has been kicked off the forum again so hopefully he won't both you anymore.

So, enjoy Tulsa!

Oh Boy [:D]Great[:D]  I know one other forum I am a member when they have problems like that they ban them for good ! They cannot get on using another name because they can see what PC there using whitch stops them from getting on using another name .How sad that there are people out there with no life that find it amusing to treat other people that way .Thank so much for taking care of it .Dang I can't beleive he was up to 14 names ! How sad .Well maybe now we won't have to listen to his negative garbage anymore .Thank You Honeybee

Move to northwest Arkansas.  That's where the rest of CA is moving to.  They have a lot more illegals there so it feels more like California that OK does.

And you know this based on.... what, exactly?

Moving to T-Town?  Just don't drink the water.

Ummm... facts, please... not just some article on chicken waste... facts.

Fact:  when I lived in OKC, the water bill always had an EPA warning that the water didn't meet EPA standards... haven't seen this in Tulsa.  Water where I just moved from (Elgin, IL) had a certain taste/odor I didn't like so I'd use Brita filters every time...

The only complaint I've had in the past is that Tulsa water seems TOO clean... the tap water in the city of Tulsa has always looked crystal clear and never had an odor/taste problem (at least in my experience)... highly fluoridated? (somebody in the know could give more details).

I know Coweta gets the same EPA warning on its water bills.  If you worry about it, then do the filters, etc...

Strangely enough, I forgot to recommend Coweta if Honeybee decides on Wagoner County... Tulsa to the north/west, Ft Gibson/lakes to the east... some inexpensive nice modern housing built recently and Coweta still has a home town feel to it...

Thank you I did see Coweta[:)] we went to see ours friends house they were building there [:D]We also went to Wagnor, seen a awesome home on land with it's own pond beautiful but alittle to far out !If I ever had to be out there alone I would not like that not knowing the area or anything . Also seen homes in  Claremore ,Jenks , Sapulpa, BA I plan on flying out there in the Summer I want to see what the humdity is like there .Here in Ca, we had 114* for 14 days straight this last summer[8D] Normal it is around 100-106* being the hottest ![8D]So I am used to very Hot weather.  Are heat is dry heat though.I have friends in BA now and Shilome Springs so I will come out and visit during the Hottest  time .I am not worried about the water .I can always put in a water system if it is that bad .I am not used to forums I only belong to 1 forum and it is all women and it is a support forum for those who have had Cosmetic Surgary so there is no bashing there !  I thought I would give the forums a try to gain  insight on other places to live and gather good insight to help us make better choices. Thank you all [:)]Honeybee
