Any good places in Tulsa to buy tea?

Most coffee shops have specialty teas. I had some kind of fancy tea at Shades of Brown last week.

If you are looking for larger quanties I would suggest Wild Oats.

Tea is good for you. What? Someone or their friends have a social convention against tea? lol.  Hmmm someone not brave enough to do something that would be good for them simply because of peer pressure?  What "type" would you call that?  [:P]

I am completely unsophisticated when it comes to tea. But I'm sitting at Shades of Brown drinking a pot of Morrocan Mint tea. The girl got some kind of empty paper bag and filled it with loose leaf tea from one of many glass cannisters. I don't know what a tea expert would think but I'm enjoying it.

I'm trying to hold my pinkie out as I drink it but these huge pottery cups they use are too heavy.

If you want "designer" tea, in pretty modern packaging, etc: try Wild Oats, Mecca, or Border's.  Maybe William Sonoma and Petty's but I can't say for certain. For quality but less flashy types, Nam Hai or any Indian grocer.

I do not really care if is designer tea mostly I just something a little different than from what I usually drink.I drink tea all the time in my house green tea,plain green iced tea,flavored hot green tea, flavored regular hot tea ,plain hot tea,plain iced tea.I never tried white tea.The only tea so far I do not really like is instant and bottled.

The only loose leaf tea I tried was a free sample of the temple of heaven gunpowder tea I got from Golden Moon,I liked it.

Nam Hai on 21st/Garnett has a huge variety of tea.  They even have roasted tea....weird, eh?
