What does Tulsa have for the Deaf

We have a profound deaf daughter she is going to be 21 in May [:)]She will be moving with us also do you know of any Deaf Events or ways to meet other deaf people for her .?

Tulsa Speech & Hearing association. Tulsa University has an excellent clinic as well.

Thank you I was wondering about events and such .My daughter met with the Tulsa Deaf Services when we were there :O) And they let her know they can assit in collage or jobs  getting a licese there  meeting other deaf people so I think we will be able to find what ever we need through them .She is not intersted in hearing [:)]She loves being deaf and has many friends here in Ca. as she attend the Ca. State School for the deaf in her JR. High and some High School then moved back home with us and finshed High School in Main Stream program . So she is very Funny out going and smart Girl [:D]I will look into those sights still though Thanks

Thanks so much that 1st. one you shared is the people she met with when we were there I set it up so she would be able to meet with counsoler there who was also deaf and from Ca. [:)]they had a 1 1/2 hr. long visit it was very postive [:D]for your daughter .Again thanks so much I will go look at the other links

Oh these are great sites I will email to my daughter as she has her own apt, now she felt it was time to grow up I miss her so much she is going to be 21 soon but I still tell her your momma's baby and always will be [:)]Misty is our youngest and the only one deaf in are family so we had to all learn Sigh to talk to her [:D]she is a a Blessing to our family
