Did you hear that the COppertown coffee kiosk, and Il Vecchio (sp) went out of business.  I read a good point, we get all excited for a chain like Olive Garden...but can't seem to support a local small business...bummer.

Coppertown Coffee is out of business?

I drove by it about 20 minutes ago and all the lights were on.

The Owasso Reporter says that Coppertown would close Wednesday.  I guess that's today.  The article also says that some last-minute effort to keep the store open fell through.  Maybe, just maybe, they were successful.  I guess we'll know for sure on Friday.

The coffee shops are very competitive.  There are 2 Starbuck stores, Panera Bread, and some cafes.  Nordaggio's closed sometime in the last year, I think.  And there was another coffee shop in the space currently occupied by Simply Sushi.

Coffee...hmmm...that sounds good right now.  Where's the mokka pot?

May you live in interesting times.

If you are all about the unlimited salad bar and the high calorie bread sticks then go for me. I will go down to Tucci's and spend my money for local Italian.

I wouldn't call myself a zealot, but I do like to support the smaller businesses when possible.  That being said...try Napolis.  Great prices and good food!

I agree.  They also just opened a new location at 31st and Garnett.  The wait staff at the one in Broken Arrow was just awesome.  Very friendly.

I will have to go check out the new location.  It might be closer to me than the one on the west bank.

As it turns out i am about half way between the two at around 8 1/2 miles going either way.

I was there, in fact, I was holding the ribbon (on the left side) at the ribbon cutting.    ;D

Do you have any pictures or was there any media at the ribbon cutting?
