Seems like I have heard from previous lawyer friends that they felt a lawyer never would be called... but that was long ago.  How about now?  Are you exempt by being a member of the court?

Oklahoma attorneys are exempt from jury duty in state court, not in federal.

That is my understanding. But I doubt anyone would want me on their jury. Too good looking. Big distraction to the witnesses and lawyers.

The two times I have been a potential juror the judges knew me.  I was excused and sent back to the basement.
Power is nothing till you use it.
