Join the Tulsa Minuteman Project on Saturday, May 5th, 2007 at the SE corner of 21st & Garnett for a rally to show support and respect for those who have been killed or injured in the Tulsa area at the hands of illegal aliens.  Many of our fellow citizens have suffered as a result of vehicle accidents caused by illegal aliens with no driver's license and insurance causing injury, property damage and even death.  Come join us as we take time to remember those innocent individuals and lives that have been devastated by illegal aliens.

Free black armbands for all who attend and balloons and other goodies for the kids.  Bring your friends, American Flags and your good behavior.

Kind of a mixed message there.

There have been lots of fun groups that use black arm bands.

One fun one just loved to rally. They were all about race and nationalism, that worked out well.........

When will the rally be held for all the other people who have been killed by legal residents?  Which far out-number those killed by illegal aliens.

It's not fair the illegal immigrants can't be held responsible for their actions. They shouldn't be here driving cars without insurance. That may be OK in Mexico (I doubt it), but not OK here.

Not held responsible or not deported?  Which one do you want?  They are held responsible and charged with crimes just as any other legal person would be.  Would you rather see them deported and not held responsible?  How about all the legal residents who do the same thing?  Only punish them?  Or don't punish them?  Maybe we should deport everyone with no insurance or driver license!!

I find "black arm bands and balloons for the kids" humorous.

Personally I think a rally expressing anger towards another group of individuals having "balloons for the kids" to be a bit inappropriate anyway.

I also find most people can't get behind something that doesn't have a snort slogan/message.

I will join when they start patroling the Canadian border too. It is more unsecure then the southern border. Lets hope the terrorist dont find out about that one. [B)]

I want to go,  but it will be to protest the lifelong American citizen who rear ended me without insurance. He got a ticket and then drove away, still without insurance. I want to protest this.

Nonsense.  The glaring difference between the two being that those who were killed by illegal aliens could have been 100% prevented with competent border security.

When we start getting massive influxes of Canadian refugees I'll worry about the Canadian border.  Unlike Mexico, Canada actually has stringent immigration policies, and although security is a facet of the debate, it is by no means the only one.  

We need an orderly guest worker program, but allowing unfettered access to any and all who wish to cross our borders is an invitation for disaster, both economically and militarily.

Like a guy on comedy central once said, we need to build not one, but two 50 ft walls. If they get past the first one, they have a second one. Mark the first one "1 of 20" and the second one "2 of 20" because they will assume anyone crazy enough to build two 50ft walls is crazy enough to build 20 of them.

Dump some rednecks between the two walls and no-one will make it over wall #2. All that is required for upkeep is the occasional 1979 ford pickup full of Milwaukee's Best and shotgun shells.

I know it's funny to joke about rednecks and such, but there are verified middle eastern men being stopped on a regular basis coming across the border.  Just do a google search and you'll see accounts of ME men waddling their way across our southern border, and we only find out about the ones who get caught...

I just think rednecks are one of the US's most valuable resources. Like oil, but it's illegal to run your car on rednecks.
