Well I may not know much about art, but I do know what I like!

I went to a strip bar with Conan and it was like going to "Cheers" with Norm.

All the girls shouted "Conan" at the same time.

Next lunch, Night Trips or Cloud Nine?  I think I can get everyone comped. [}:)]

Seriously, I was taking my 13 YO to cheer practice out in BA last night.  We passed Cloud 9 going down the BA Expwy.  She turns to me and says:  "Dad is that a gay bar?"  I said: "What?"

"That Cloud 9, well the sign says 'Gentlemen's club'".

I started laughing so hard, I was having a hard time keeping my truck in one lane.

Apparently it was a huge printing error and Keith is really upset about the whole thing. So upset, in fact, that he will no longer be accepting anymore stripper, boob, massage and marijuana ads. He will give free ads to area churches, however.

Conan71

Remains to be seen.  They make too much revenue to cut out all those ads.  And that wasn't a cheap ad.

Having worked around the frenetic environment of print deadlines, I see how stuff like this gets through.  You get the film or disc at the last minute, it fits the space and you go to print without really looking at it closely.

"...you go to print without really looking at it closely."

Right, you count on your client's decorum: worse case is usually a typo.

Day ago I looked the issue over, due to this thread (bad publicity is still publicity, eh?) and noticed far fewer ad's of the seamier nature then I recall and that the ad in question is much more "visable" then the online presentation. Quality vs.Quantity?

All night, pizza, candy, soda and hot wings. With a cannabis leaf background.

I bet that place is a lucrative business. Kinda like that hair salon where the hairdressers wear lingerie. If hooters gets away with it why shouldn't they? At least they are local independently owned small businesses, the backbone of Tulsa's economy.

For a conservative paper they sure have a rag tag bunch of advertisers.

I don't have any problem with weed either. By dad was involved in law enforcement and was always of the opinion that alcohol was much more destructive than hash.

Now where did I put that sheesha?

Those businesses are neighbors in the same strip mall. I know because I got pizza and an urban tulsa weekly at place at the other end of the same strip mall.

Where is Mary Jane's located?  I'm curious now.  Not that I'm a connoisseur of stoner pizza places, but always looking for a good pie.  I feel fortunate to live in close proximity to both Pie Hole and Umberto's.

There is a pizza delivery company which advertises on Z-104 that caters to the late night munchie crowd, but I don't think it's Mary Jane's.  Seemed like Mama Mia's or something like that.

I notice "hwall" is our latest member.  Perhaps she will chime in on the UTW nipple.

I was at "NYC Pizza" at 47th & Harvard. Mary Janes is the place advertised late night on the 104.5. They are only open after hours.

Speaking of pizza in the 51st & Harvard vicinity, what will happen to Mario's?  I heard Bodean's already has a spot at the old Blockbuster across the street.

Mary Janes is nothing special at all, stick with Pie hole and the like, but anything will taste good when your baked.

There is a Joe Mama's Pizza that advertises on the edge as well, I think they are off 61st close to 169... never been there though.

Joe Mama's is excellent.

My favorite pizza now is Brother's Pizza. They have two locations, but I always use the 11th and Memorial one.

Great specialty pizzas for under $13.

The other is 101st and sheridan. It has tables.

Hideaway-like specialty pizzas (but better) and $12 for a large.

Not sure how this relates to nipples.
