We picked out a restaurant for our next lunch...the Knotty Pine Bar-B-que in West Tulsa (or as TulsaMini called it ...the Naughty Pine).

This is their 55th year in business and they make some fine food. I particularly like the rib ends and their bologna (in fact people often say I am full of bologna).

I propose we do it the last week of June...Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Do TN bylaws allow more than one lunch in a month?  KP is a good choice their 1/2 combo plate works well for me.

Leave the pink bicycle at home this time.

Far be it from me to invite myself, but should I return for a visit when one of these lunceons happen to be scheduled, can I join you?

Count me in. BTW, RM. I enjoyed the door prize. Next time, instead of Bose, may I suggest Apple, Porsche Design, Hasselblad, or Snap-On?

You are welcome.

I am not sure I can give out such nice prizes every lunch.

Well, although I'm not currently living in the Tulsa area, I do have some family and friends still there, and I have been known to come back to visit when I can and put in a cameo when time permits over my visit. I'm hoping to meet some of you-or all of you-on my next visit there.

And would you actually consider me a noob?

I was hoping that Knotty Pine was out of TPD's jurisdiction...

Tuesday sounds good.  Best to go early or late, it's packed at noon.
