My family had a 1963 or 1964 Plymouth Valiant that also had the push-button gear shift.  I think all Chrysler auto-trans cars used the push-button selectors for about 8 years or more.  I am looking at a snapshot of that car right now, and in the background I can see our neighbor's tri-tone green 1959 Dodge Royal, huge tail fins, gaudy chrome and all.  Bad taste aside, they sure don't make 'em like that anymore.

Those late 1950's Plymouths are rather rare. if you see one that's showroom new it's a gem...

Well, we can all gather again for the next Plymouth to be dug up in 2048, just 41 years to go.

The Tulsa planners of 1957 really worked hard and wanted so bad to leave us a gift of their time. They would really be hurt to know that the gift they left us was ruined. I'd like to see Tulsa bury a car every 50 years. The gift they left us can't be replaced.

Speak for yerself. I have a feeling that I'll be in my own vault in 2057, (I'll be 102 years old if I'm still up and kicking).
