Same here. This is frustrating, but I think bruno is right. Their server is probably getting bombarded from all over.

I just went over and started watching the "Hawk Cam." There seems to be a lot more movement in that than on the streaming slideshow.

D'oh, with the international interest you would think they would plan for it to be busy.  Go over to Tulsa Connect and beg bandwidth for the day.  Grrrr... now I am watching the grey hair man stand there frozen with Kathy Taylors voice dubbed over.  Hmm.

By the way, that's like a 140 Ton crane.  The car, skid, spreader bar and rigging probably weighs 4 tons max.  Add the reach and still a 30 Ton could do it EASILY.  Show offs []

If bandwidth is so low, how come the newscast is coming across fine? Perhaps they don't share the same streaming channel?

Television Broadcasts and Internet Podcasts are totally unrelated.  They happen to be showing the same thing in this instance, but the method used to disburse them is unrelated.

Television either by cable or air waives is not limited based no the number of users.  It doesnt matter if 10 or 10,000 people pick up the signal.

Internet has to transmit to each person's computer individually. Thus using more bandwidth depending on the number of people.

Glad to know it wasn't just my crappy DSL connection.  It froze right at the moment of truth.  I didn't remember we have a TV here until they had it out of the hole.

Yes, but I'm watching both from my computer connection because I don't have access to broadcast tv right now. When they are showing the live on-site broadcast, it's herky jerky (at best). Then, when they switch back to the studio everything is fine.

I didn't bother with internet, I watched it all live on KJRH Ch. 2.

That was just about the coolest, nifty, groovy, tough, neat-o thing I have seen in a long time!  Gave me goose bumps, and really makes me proud to be a Tulsan today!  Now, if we can just survive the next 6 hours to see what is under that cover and in the time capsule...

The time capsule did not come out with the car.  They are lifting that separately.  I hope water did not penetrate and its contents are pristine.
