Went to White River last Friday with a large group. Everyone had a wide variety of dishes from Sea Bass and Scallops, to Catfish, Salmon and Shrimp. Everyone was quite pleased. My broiled platter with Scallops, Orange Roughy and Shrimp was awesome. OH! And the hush puppies are wonderful! On Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have Lobster dinners. Good stuff!

I have eaten at White River Fish Market about a hundred times.
My wife and I went there for many a Valentine's day and had their $15 Lobster tail dinner.
They also sell some very interesting seafood choices. I have also bought frog legs, squid and turtle meat from them over the decades I have eaten there. I also buy lots of shrimp from them.
Once my son and I didn't catch big enough fish from Flat Rock creek near Yahola, so I took him to White River and we got some beautiful, cleaned river trout. I made him stay a few feet away and I tossed him the wrapped fish so he could tell his mother with a straight face that he "caught" them.
They also have the absolute best gumbo mix ever sold. You provide the main ingrediants, and their set of spices and instructions make it impossible to mess up.
