I went to the neighborfest at Hunter Park tonight...the one in Councilor Christiansen's district.

It had a pretty good crowd...I counted 280 people (including the city workers and kids in the splash pool). I liked that they played zydeco music on the stage between announcements.

The Mayor and the Councilor stayed for most of the night and Councilor Christiansen competed in the hula hoop contest (he didn't win, but was better than I would have thought)

The free ice cream from Borden's and all the giveaways from the various booths were nice.
