One of the Rutger's girls is suing Don Imus for his on air comments.  First of all, this is a dangerous infringement on speech.  The comment was off the cuff by a talking head known for such remarks.  It is not wise to make people worry about being sued while trying to entertain.

In any event, this suit will fail for at least 2 main reasons:
1) The comment was not directed at an individual.    Slander of a group is generally not actionable.  (people from Texas are stupid... oh crap, now 40mil Texans can sue me).
2) No Damages.  Did anyone hear Imus and decide that in fact these women were Nappy Headed Hos?  Did they lose out on anything?  Nope.

Defense:
a) Public figure.  There may be some defense in saying that a team playing in the NCAA finals is a public figure - especially as a team.
b) Truth.  Are they Nappy Headed Ho's?

Anyway.  This is my 2 minute writeup.  The suit is a bad idea and poor on legal footing.

Yeah, they have no chance to win, but it's not about whether they win or lose, it's about whether they get to have another 15 minutes of fame for themselves and their pimp Al $harpton.

I don't think anyone wants to see what's on your hard drive...

I would think by now, Al Sharpton (given his antics) would have lost any clout with his community long ago. After the Tawana Brawley case some 20 years ago, you'd think they'd have tuned him out in favor of someone who'd be a little less of a demagogue, a little less of a troublemaker.

There would be no such incriminating evidence.

But that reminds me of the article in yesterdaze WSJ about Tom Pendergrass in Kansas City who with his brother Jim created a sense of bohemia by establishing speakeasy's and casino's during prohibition which essentially started up the jazz age. It mentioned Jay McShane several times. Point being, the ethnic minority in a community should be part of a communities backbone and name calling only serves one vicious purpose. Any way,  combine substance and civil disobedience and you have a key component to attracting other's from outside. Lots of unique cities everywhere around the globe that offer something different. Not just arena's.

If you don't want to share how to post a pic, then fine. Your loss.
I knew yuze guys did not play well with others.

You can not host pictures on Tulsa Now, you can only link to them.  When posting, click the icon that looks like the MS picture icon with the clever hover tag "insert image."  Then enter the URL for wherever the image happens to be (photobucket, google, whatever).  Then tada, picture!

Aox-

Here's a link to Photobucket.  It's what I use.  There are other free hosting services as well.  Set up an account, upload your photos and it will create a URL for each of your photos you can post to non-hosting web sites.

Photobucket

See, I'm not always an a-hole toward you.

Replace the <> with [] and this is the correct linkage.

so:
<img]http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/pics/breaking/0815biz-savethepenny15-ON-autosized258.jpg[/img>
becomes

remembering to use the [].  If you get the red X you either had an invalid link or the service does not allow outsourced links of pictures.  Remember, the picture must be on the net somewhere, not in email or on your HD.
