Did anybody go the speech today at lunch?

I heard she got interrupted by applause a few times. I saw the speech given to city employees later and think she did a good job.

A question RM... The applause you spoke of was from the TMC or the City employees..?

Let's see... 2006 State of the City Speech...Tulsa Metro Chamber.

2007 State of the City Speech.... Tulsa Metro Chamber/City of Tulsa Employees.

200? State of the City Speech.. The Citizens of Tulsa...

Bet the Tulsa Metro Chamber really needed a little "Pep Talk"....

So many of them have felt left out...[:(]

The city employees did not interrupt her with applause but did give her a nice ovation at the end.

The Mayor then stayed for a while, answering questions from the audience for a few minutes, then going out in the hallway for a reception. I hung around for about a half hour (they had lemonade and cake) and she was going up to small groups of employees and answering questions.

The Chamber lunch must have been huge. The video on channel two news looked like the room was packed.

Next year, Rico...we are going together. No excuses.

Spinfest of the year in the chamber hall of iniquity and Spincyle had to miss it. What a shame.

It is so nice of you to care so much.

It was probably a room full of happy and successful people...you know the ones who want to be involved in positive things that move our community forward...

I am afraid your constant negative and angry attitude and demeanor would have really stood out.

Maybe next year you can go to the ball, Cinderella.

If I wanted to spend my day in a room full of crooks and immorality, I would. Not my cup of Tea. Sounds like the perfect place for you, though.

Ya know, the Chamber of Commerce isn't dominated by mega-corps and international conglomerate types. It is mostly very small businesses trying to make contacts and do business with each other. I bet most of their members are simply entreprenuers and salesmen trying to make a living. Many of them have been great success stories about local people working hard.

The fact that you call them all crooked and immoral says volumes about you.
