I noticed today that McAlister's is going to open a new store in mid-town, in Centennial Plaza in front of Sears facing 21st next to Freckles.  This is a good thing,  I like their sandwiches and I love their iced tea.  Now I will not have to go all the way to the South of Tulsa just to get a muffalata sandwich.  Midtown living is a good choice.

I went to the new location of Oklahoma Style Bar B Que a couple of days ago. Their store on North Harvard between Pine and Apache has always been one of my favorites, but I almost never went to that part of town.

Now, they have opened a location on 21st street east of Memorial (in the shopping center where Billiard Palace used to be).

I got some ribs and chopped beef for the kids and ordered three kinds of sauce. The kids liked the sweet, the wife liked the mild and I went for mixed.

Both meats went for under $12 a pound. I plan to phone in next time at 610-RIBS.

Have you tried Sonoma yet? How was it?

I tried it a few weeks back. It was QUITE good.Wine was average priced, food was decently priced but portion sizes seemed small.

I'd recommend it.

I have had a pizza and also the skirt steak with blue cheese and thought both items were very tasty.  To me the portion sizes were very good, it made a meal and I didn't feel like I was wasting anything and I had enough to eat without feeling bloated.  If I want that sort of meal I just go up the street to the Brook or down to the Cheesecake factory.

I think that is the one the Tulsa World featured a couple of weeks ago.  I'm anxious to try it.  Thanks for the reminder!

I was over in the Brady District this morning and saw a new deli next to the Violin Shop called the White Rabbit Deli.  Does anyone have any information on this new place?  Or did I miss the discussion on it
