I was thinking we could do something completely different this time.

Meet at the park @ 6th and Peoria. The time would be noon till one.

We can all bring a lunch that day or stop and get something to bring. No sharing, just bring whatever you want to eat (I am thinking I might get a phat philly to go).

We meet on the patio overlooking the pond and bask in the view of the downtown skyline, next to a beautiful new pond and discuss the world.

I will bring a cooler with cold soft drinks and water and a recycling bin for the emptys.

That is a smashing idea, I believe I can do that!

If I forget my lunch is it okay for me to rustle up some grub with my varmint gun?

Damn hippies. Just ruining our public parks. [Tongue]Sorry, can't make it, but hoist some caffeinated liquid in honor of the missing Waterboy. One day I will join the ranks of the salaried class once again and be able to lounge in public parks.

We might want a back-up in case of inclement weather.  What's a good local cafe in the area?

Great, now I need to get some awesomtastic lunch box to keep up with the Joneses.

Again, I'll try to come.  But I'll probably have to deal with some BS emergency that day and not take lunch until 3pm.  Seems to be par for the course lately around here.

I am really beginning to believe you don't exist.

Prove you are carbon-based and not just some random computer program.

At 11:31 cannon_fodder became self aware. The program did not reside on one machine.  It had no core.  It has infiltrated into hundreds of TulsaNow users' machines.  It could not be destroyed.  Soon it will start a thermo nuclear war, anyone not wearing SPF 2,000,000 is going to have a really bad day.

Mission:  The recycling one knows too much.

There was a lot of discussion about Form Based Codes and how that is continuing along its process to becoming reality for the Pearl District. And possibly as an adjunct to what COHN is trying to do for the midtown neighborhoods and how once it gets in place for the Pearl its being able to be used for other areas of town as well. There was a lot of discussion about a Conservation District overlay for midtown. Interesting comments about Greenwood and of course how to react and have some influence with the downtown Wal-Mart deal. We are having an earlier meeting and presentation next month on a matter that I believe Double A might find very interesting indeed. Too early to say anything about though. Some ideas have to simmer, percolate and be worked over to see if they are truly worthwhile. Definitely no "eating crow" at all. Just more things taking flight. [8D]

I said I would bring some sodas and water to share with all.

I need some ideas of who is coming...not that you can make any special orders or anything, I just need to decide to go for a keg or just some jugs of lemonade.

Be prepared by bringing your own food. Anybody who tries to mooch some of mine gets thrown in the pond.
