Did anyone see this in Bixby?  I've had pizza from he one in Springfield, MO...I didn't know there was one in Owasso.  I sure hope they have a drive through window b/c they are great for parties.  

Yes, I know I should go down to the locally owned Savastano's a block away but they were mean to me last time!

Savastano's was mean to you? How so? My wife and I eat there frequently and have never had anything but great service and great food.

The counter girls were extremely rude on separate occasions...Once I had a to-go order I made over the phone and the girl was extremely put-out when I asked for the missing garlic bread.  The time before that I ordered a salad bar to go with the pizza (to go) and it went like this:
Kashmir:  Um, can I get a container for the salad?
Pizza Girl:What?
Kashmr:  For my to-go salad
Pizza Girl:  No response, blinks
Kashmir:  Can I get the box?
Pizza Girl: What?
Kashmir:Can I-
Pizza Girl: Phone rings, takes order, glares at Kashmir.  Gets off phone, continues to stare.
Kashmir: Can I get that box?
Pizza Girl:  "Ummm, ookkkkaayyyy"...like I am an idiot.  Hands me box like I'm the dummy.

Papa Murphy's is terrific. As I recall (from the Joplin, MO. store), they also give out mini pizzas to children who do well at school. I think the concept is clever as well.

Oh, and ditto on the service at Savastanos. I too was blown off by the counter help, the only time I went there.

Wow. That does suck. Never had that happen to us. We just moved here, but my wife is originally from Bixby and has been going there, and Freddie's/Scott's, since they have been open and I can't recall her ever saying anything about bad service.

That really sucks man....

Is it open yet? We drive by it every weekend after going to Wally World.

I definitely want to try it out after looking at their website.

I also have no complaints about Savastanos.  I have always had great service and excellent food.  I have been going there for quite a while and will keep on going back.  Love that deep dish pizza.

i never eat at Savastanos because the staff is rude (call it busy if you want).  But they know how to cook pizza so I just order the deep dish for pick up.

oh, and while we are talking about papa murphys, the Coney Beach next door isn't too bad.  I think it is pretty cheap for what you get...and amazingly I didn't get heartburn from the chili dog.
