If not for the wives and other women pertaining to the wives and other female staff of local Tulsa evangelists and clergy, how about TV stations? Do they need makeup artists and stylists, and if so, how does one get in on a gig like that?

I thought tv people plaster their own make up on. That's why some ( no names will be dropped) don't always look the same on a daily basis.

So unlike other markets that have that kind of support staff, is this to say that Tulsa's news stations are reasonably low-budget?

Low budget and low paid.

That's why some stations have a lot of turnover. They are putting in their time until they can move up to the next level.

Clear Channel has a fairly high budget.

Also keep in mind that stations in Oklahoma spend a lot on the latest and greatest weather equipment. Sometimes local weather tech is ahead of many major markets.
