Thanks Sen Kerry for not fighting for our votes! How do you sleep at night?
I would love a truthful answer from you as to why you folded, because as of right now I have no respect for your decision. This is too painful. But I am selfish...think of the hundreds of thousands of people who have died or suffered irreversable damage as a result of this adminstration's policiies. They are the real victims, I'm just a pissed off liberal.

Honestly AOX...how many more times did the article need to say "could have" for you to get the clue that no one, not even the author, belives that the election was ACTUALLY stolen.

It's as plausible to state that the only reason the election was so close was due to Kerry people manipulating votes for themselves.

I think the ice last week froze your brain...sleep on top of your radiator tonight and try again tomorrow.

Could election fraud figure into the next election too?

Could it be the system for electing Presidents has been bastardized to the point where we really don't have a pure democracy but rather a reigning plutocracy capable of fixing and manipulating votes?

iplaw

Remember that no one is saying that fraud actually took place.  Can it happen...yes...does it happen...yes, does it happen on such a scale that could impact an election...who knows.

One thing you can count on is that people on both sides pull tricks during elections, but I don't believe that either Kerry or Bush wanted anything other than a fair election.  The only people pathetic enough to cheat are the hyper partisan participants.

Mandatory voter ID cars would eliminate much of the confusion.

And should Kerry had been elected you would have not only been a disenfranchised liberal, but a sold-up-the-river liberal abandoned by your party.

The drumbeat for war was the product of the liberal Council of Foreign Relations, which had regime change in Iraq - not dialogue, not engagement, not incremental reform - at the top of their international to-do list.  Did Kerry - for whom I voted - not support the war before he did not?

Kerry manipulated the election to make it closer!!!one!11!!eleven!!!!

This article says that there was security concerns in the machines in Ohio.  Exit polls should Bush losing by 6% but he won by 1%, a 5% difference.  Therefor, Kerry rigged the poll numbers to make it look like he was going to win in an attempt to keep Bush supporters from the polls late.  The election should have been a Bush landslide but Bush supporters stayed away from the polls because of the exit poll data.  Those polls have destroyed their data along with the election boards - so we will never know what really happened!

. . .

This story is just as easily passed based on the information we actually have.  Did you remember the reports from 2000 Florida that said Bush really did win?  Or the Ohio review a couple years back that agreed with the Bush result?

If you want elections to be conducted by exit polls, then lets just skip this internationally supervised election process and have the media declare a winner.

These two guys (Kerry and Bush) went to school together and were in the same fraternity.

I think the entire '04 election was a sham.

It will be interesting to see in a few weeks who our next president will be... Obama or Hillary? I sincerely hope the Clinton and Bush families don't control the election process, but after 20 years of them, I'm not so sure.

SNAP!

cannon_fodder

good point. If Hildog wins that would be 24 years...up to 28 years under the same 2 families rule.  How does THAT look to other nations who we accuse of having built in ruling families.

The reason we have term limits is to help ensure corruption does not get institutionalized...
