So...your husband likes to watch? Interesting...

Nice little neighborhood type bar with a varied mix of visitors. I will return with other friends.

Steve

I watched the Ch. 8 TV story, thanks to sgrizzle's original announcement.  I had seen recyclemichael before on other news stories and was aware of who he was, but it was good to see Tulsamini, Theartist, and Sgrizzle and put names/voices with the faces.

I keep intending to attend a TulsaNow social function, just haven't made it yet.  But I will some day soon.

Conan71

Great fun!  I couldn't beleive it when Waterboy stripped his shirt off and started dancing on the table.  You gotta watch that guy- total wild man!!!

Way to go AA, we can always count on you to inject an absolutely inane comment in what is a "feel good" thread...

We had planned on several things that did not work out as planned:

1) Spend time figuring out peoples ethnicity on the internet
2) If no minorities showed up, kidnap some to look good on camera
3) Force the TV crew to show shots of minorities
4) Offer scholarships to minorities to join TulsaNow - free logins for life!

None of that worked out.  So our open membership group was represented by whoever the hell showed up and the crew decided to put on TV.

Let us know your plan to further diversify TulsaNow... or keep whining about EVERYTHING and offering no solution.  Wait don't, I try not to let me boy do that so why would I want to hear it from a grown man supposedly sharing his insights?

Just holding up a mirror. If you don't like the reflection that is cast, don't look.

weren't the only people that were there, those that were on camera?  I mean the table wide shot didn't show that many people.

RecycleMichael

No. We had people who didn't want to be on camera and others came too late to be filmed.
