I'm jealous. Mine's not available yet. Just last week, I started looking for a new service because Directv ticked me off.  I was really happy they announced their roll out today.

I was checking addresses through their site and discovered a few addresses less than 1 mi from my house that were ready to go.  The weird thing was that only those 2 houses, closest to their NEW AT&T box had the capability (FYI - google maps are amazing!). I decided to check those addresses since I saw them installing that new box 3 or 4 months ago. So surely, it can't be that long until I can get it.  Right?

A word of advice....DO NOT bundle all your tech needs with one vendor.

ATT is charging about $70 more than you would pay seperating phone, internet, and television from what little info I've gotten so far.

It all depends on who will furnish me with a library of on demand movies from here to eternity...

That seriously good advice.
The smallest clerical fluke or billing error with any of the big bundlers could leave you in the dark, as they will shut ALL of your services off at once and without notice.
Leave yourself a safety net by having separate internet and phone service, at least.

I could see myself going with U-verse for internet, but sticking with DirecTV for video.
Bundling is just too risky.
