I often here "pie hole" this and "pie Hole" that. What does the pie have to do with one's mouth? Give examples.

Chicken Little

A "pie hole" is the hole where pies go in...usually the mouth.

I first heard the term in the 1983 horror movie Christine.  I thought it was dirty.  It is not.

Thus, "shut your pie hole" would mean shut your mouth, or more succinctly - shut up.
