My fiancee and I recently closed on our new house.  We have a chihuahua mix thats about 2yrs old that we got from the pound.  It has all current vaccinations and papers.  She is housebroken loves to sleep on your lap and cuddle, spayed, doesn't bark or bite. Included is her cage, food, treats, toys, etc.  Free to anyone that wants it.  If interested please call me at 918 519 2737 and ask for Matt.

No pets in the new Casa?

I'm not in the market for any more dogs, plus my dogs are 50+ pounds and reside outside most of the day.  Not good for a small short haired dog in February or I'd say I could keep him for you if it became crunch time.

Wow. You have a crate-trained, housebroken, loving dog that you want to give away because you have a new house. I'm trying not to be judgmental here...but how cold are you? You're not planning on children are you? They can be hell on a new house.

Sorry, I just don't understand. [:(]

It sounds like the fiancee is not much of a dog person.

My advice...it is easy to find a new fiancee. A good dog is worth keeping.

actually she is the one who got the dog.  I personally love animals, but do not want it in the house and its not an outside dog.  We do plan on having kids and in fact, plan on adopting my 3.5yr old twin nephews.  I do not like the dog hair, wiping their paws the 4 or 5 times she goes outside to use the bathroom when its raining, etc etc.  Anyone know of a place that will take her in and find a good home for her?

I need to have her out of the house by tomorrow afternoon.  If not, then looks like she is going to the pound unfortunately.

I'm afraid she would freeze to death at my house as my dogs are outside all day and often into the night and winter is far from over.  I'll ask a buddy if he wants to hold on to it with his small herd until a home can be found, but it seems unlikely.

Please contact the Humane Society. The pound will more than likely put him down.

Just curious, which came first? The dog or the house? Did the two of you not discuss this? Just seem kind of last minute.

Do you have vet records for the dog?

Do all the dogs of the world a favor and never get another one. I can't imagine having a loving pet for that long and then just giving it away because I am moving.

Can it do tricks?

Herd Sheep, fetch a beer, anything?

It's probably already down at the dog shelter awaiting euthanasia. Sad.
