I know we discussed guilty pleasure restaurants before, but I want to know about specific food items that have a billion calories and are soooo tasty and somewhat unique and local.  I am giving myself one  diet "cheat day" a week so I don't want to miss out on any delicious opportunities.[:P]

My vote:
1) Sausage cheese melt at Rons...sausage beef patty covered with pepperjack cheese on                                               two glorious Texas Toast slices grilled in butter until golden and crispy!  With fried onions, of course. [|)]

Any others?  Descriptions please!

"Hot Hamburger" at Murphy's Steakhouse in Bartlesville.

Open-face patty w/cheese & onions over Texas toast, sumberged in brown gravy along with a pile of French fries.

Instant heart-attack material.

OMG.. My chest hurt just reading that...

Instant heart-attack material.

I also like the Mexican combo platters where the enchilada chili sauce on top and cheese oozing out out the tortillas meets up with the rice and cheese topped refried beans into a soupy, tasty...mess.  And there is no empty space on the plate!

Loaded cheddar fries from the Brook.

Mmmmm, bacon, chives and jalapeƱos.

Topped with ranch dressing for the artery clog of the year.

Bob Marley Dip from En Fuego... I know that they have been closed for a while, but I was excited when I read in the SPOT how Kampai Lounge is having En Fuego Tuesday's and serving the dip!! I am definitely going to have to check it out!

-- Ike's Chili House cheese fries. (They use waffle fries, BTW.)

-- The Tulsa Driller concrete at Freckles Frozen Custard.

-- Any Chicago-style deep-dish pizza at Savastano's.

-- The Big Okie at Hank's Hamburgers.

Finally, something we agree on...
Also, for those of you from the St. Louis area (Conan, RW, etc...), the macho combination burrito from Naugles/Del Taco is my all time greatest guilty pleasure. Approx. 3 pounds of processed "something" in a tortilla. I still stop in every time I visit.

Come on Grizz, you can buy those at most grocery stores frozen food section. And, yes, that place certainly qualifies.

Thanks guys! I have never been to the Brook, but I'm thinking about trying it this weekend.  Full Moon has some good fries too, with cheese, bacon, pico de gallo and ranch.  Along with the awesome soup, of course.

Speaking of STL, I adore "Imo's Pizza" and that yummy, gooey "provel" cheese (cheddar, swiss and provolone processed together like Velveeta).  I bought a 5 lb loaf of it at Imo's in Springfield so we can make it at home.  Compared to Mario's Pizza it's crap, but its DAMN GOOD!!!!!!

While they will do in a pinch, those things don't compare to even a Krystal, much less real White Castle.
