Do you guys really care about why a co-anchor on the morning show of the 15th ranked local radio station quit and where she went?

Really, get a life.

Care about something that really matters, like baseball...or meerkats...

I hope that was tongue-in-cheek, 'cause if not, up yours, with trees.

Yes. I miss Gwen, too.

Bates is reporting that Gwen went to Nashville and that KFAQ is running a morning show job ad. I hear Melanie Morgan is looking for work.

I personally am happy that she and MDG are gone. I think they went way over the edge after their efforts at defeating 2025 failed.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Randi Miller needs a different job.

As far as I'm concerned, this is no big loss.  I always was irritated by the way she would stumble over words.  I did listen to the clip that someone else posted of her last few minutes on air and had to chuckle.

Medlock---my gosh, where to start?  He's incredibly self absorbed and boring.  Incredibly boring.  He tries to be funny and fails miserably.  At least with MDG and Freeman there was the possibility of some entertainment.  With Medlock, the only thing I was left thinking was "that's 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back."

Listening to Mudlock is about as entertaining as listening to Al Gore.  How about a little inflection Chris?

T-Town Now

I'm not sure which would be worse.

Listening to Chris Medlock in his monotone, emotionless speech which is completely absent of almost all inflection, or having to endure George Bush trying to pronounce difficult words like "nuk-you-lur" and "Amurkins" in the drunken, psychotic state he always seems to be in.

Conan71

Bush is definitely a word and phrase mangler.

It was hillarious to hear Jimmy Carter say "Nookear Prolifuhration".

I think Carter was a degreed nuclear physicist wasn't he?

A 'source' said that there were changes a-brewin' over at the 'Q.'  The source also said that all things being equal Chris was doing OK.  I think they need to speed it up a little and give the time more often.

Yeah, served in the Navy on nuclear subs as the engineer.

Carter majored in Nuclear Propulsion at the U.S. Naval Academy.

NOT nuclear physics.

tim huntzinger

Yeah, man, Carter must have been stoopid or something . . .

Medlock won't last much longer without someone as a front man.  He was really just a support guy.

If you notice, that other guy is always on the air with him.  I don't think KFAQ trusts him alone with the mic.

Hey I think Medlock is out.  They shipped in a guy from Orlando (who sounded pretty good for a talk show host).  They said Medlock was out for a few days.....yeah kinda like Gwen.

Adding more credence to this is Master Bates' rumor mill preempting blog that Medlock is "out for a few days"

If anyone's still interested here a link to the final show. The mic noise is about ten minutes in. Then silence. When she begins speaking, you can hear the tension in her voice. Then she says "Chris, you had a comment?" She was pi$$ed and you can tell.

Someone said on another forum she was to join MDG in Nashville starting today, but I tuned in online for awhile this morning and no mention was made.

I was big fan of Gwen Freeman. I thought she was super on the radio. Did she really go to Nashville? WoW she always talked that she was a Texas gal and is from Texas and she lived in Tulsa for many years now she'll be a long way from home and will be starting over in a expensive city. She won't be able to drive down to Texas very much anymore. I wish Gwen all the best. When she was on the radio in Tulsa she even answered alot of my e-mails.
