Heh.  I like watching it but am mighty quick with the remote if it appears the song will suck.  I usually get back to see Randy slightly sugar coat things, Paula space out (she was off her drugs and coherent last night btw) and Simon tell it how it is.  I'd say it commanded 80% of my attention last night during the show (commercials removed of course).

I also don't watch the voting off show as it has no entertainment value to me.  No blog reading.  I don't know most people's names (dread lock guy, the Davids, black guy... that's about it). No voting even.  But I like music and it is a talent based show, so... ahhh, yep.

Wow - I too am suprised that some of you watch AI. We watch as much as possible. One day my little girl will be reminiscing about watching that old singing show, "American Idol" with her dad.

That Archuleta dude can really sing. Amazing. Don't know if he can win it, but he's got talent for sure.

Carrie's still hot - but she's getting too skinny. Skinny ain't been a problem for Clarkson. Baby got back.

No worries Double A, I can't stand Underwood's music either.  I saw Kelly Clarkson perform live at the 2005 Orange Bowl at the same halftime show that Ashlee Simpson was booed off stage.  I enjoyed Clarkson's show, although not quite as much as Simpson getting booed off stage.

That pictue of Underwood in front of the skyline is pretty nice though...
