That'd be sweet.  Elliot's bar too.  It should be on the route.

One thought, they should still sell tokens. What if you want to park in brookside and then ride downtown? You need to go have a drink before you can ride?

I think Blake ran one of these, sponsored by a beer company, back in 2000/03. I hate to be Debbie Downer, but its huge wear and tear on these Trolleys that don't hold up well to drunks and fraternity parties. Insurance companies absolutely hate them and refuse to insure them unless they are a regular route or single payer charters. Most operators lie about the reality of their party busses and the first time a claim is made they get cancelled. Even Bill White tried to run a route for lunch crowd downtown and gave it up.

I hope it works and it sounds like there is more support than Lund's trolley had which also ran Brookside and Cherry Street.

So do you have to eat and drink first then go eat and drink somewhere else in order to get back?

"When you only have two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other."-Chinese proverb. "Arts a staple. Like bread or wine or a warm coat in winter. Those who think it is a luxury have only a fragment of a mind. Mans spirit grows hungry for art in the same way h

That's how I read it.

The release is not entire clear, but I have seen it before where you had to buy a $5 token to ride.  That token was then good at any of the sponsoring bars.  Perhaps that is what they mean?

Not sure, but we can all agree it is a step in the right direction.

And JNE, I think I saw you standing outside picking some schtuff up.  Black pony tail, second house in from the corner?  I wanted to say hi but I didn't want to say "Hi, I'm cannon_fodder, from the internet" and be met with a totally blank stare if I was mistaken.

We still need to run down to the colony for a brew-ha-ha.

I crush grooves.

So, let me get this straight:

Lets provide a trolley service to take you from bar to bar, then drop you off at your car so you can drive home.

Someplace, that equation goes wrong.

I fixed it for you.

Holler any time if you see me out.  Tell me you are the internet guy. I will give you a blank stare just for fun. It has always been a requirement of mine to have a bar within walking distance of where I reside, but I haven't been down there much lately - too many damn people.  I'll buy you a beer one of these days.
Vote for the two party system!
-one one Friday and one on Saturday.

Whew!  Glad that got straightened out.  Thanks!

Has anybody ridden the trolley yet?

What happens if I want to take the trolley from downtown to brookside? Do I have to get a beer downtown so I can get a token for the ride to brookside.

Also, I've seen the website advertised twice recently in Urban Tulsa and both times I got a different error message.

Looks great on paper.  Except they are gonna run outta affordable DIESEL before it really catches on.

The killer app?  Golzern Pedicabs.  Unfortunately, the City's Paratransit Ordinance will EAT his lunch.
