I'm pretty deft. I have to run Shadows through Gizoogle to make sense of his posts.

You know I have heard stories of those Arkies that lived  in the hills wandering around looking for the noise of the gas driven vehicles and falling off the cliff that were created when the expressways were built through the hills..  It relates to some who fell on top of the 18 wheelers that was headed to Tulsa.  When they got here they didn't understand what those things on the peoples feet that were called shoes.   So it understandable why they had to have google translate for them into their language.

Some of my family hails from that region. Pretty accurate assessment, Shadow. A "peoples history" of the settlement of Tulsa, eh?

Anyone really interested in how Berkeley runs their city should log onto their website and check out employment opportunities(look it up yourself, i ain't your b**ch). Its pretty impressive. They send me updates each month on job descriptions and availability.

Call them whatever names you want, and yes they can sound pretty pollyannish but they have a city that serves their needs and pays their employees competitively. Recruitment offices there seems a poor investment anyway but if they don't want them it's their business.
