Free Recession Marketing Workshop with Tony Baker

Local business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend a free Recession Marketing Workshop from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on April 19 at the Renaissance Hotel.

Tony Darrick Baker, host of Results Radio Show and veteran internet marketer, will discuss how to create loyalty, customer, and profit during economic turbulence.

"Recession market conditions can provide opportunities for savvy businesses and entrepreneurs," said Baker. "This workshop will help deliver the tools businesses need to stay profitable in hard times."

Joining Baker are guests Koby Fleck, Catherine Zoller, Margaret Ames, Shawn Brown and Tara Lynn Thompson. Baker will be discussing Recession Marketing strategies for your business, including tips for radio, print, and online marketing. Fleck will give Recession Marketing advice from the professional development industry. Zoller and Thompson will cover Reframing and Making Connections, while Ames will share radio marketing strategies. Attendees can also gain advice from Brown for Managing the Ups and Downs of Small Business Ownership.

A short Q&A session will follow the seminar where Tony and his guests will answer audience questions.

"All markets fluctuate to varying degrees," said Tony. "Economic cycles come and go, businesses rise and fall. But look at companies like McDonalds, Johnson & Johnson and Colgate that have survived and even grown in periods of economic recession with continued marketing."

Marketing has been linked to recession growth in the past as well. A series of six studies conducted by the research firm of Meldrum & Fewsmith showed conclusively that advertising aggressively during recessions not only increases sales but increases profits. This fact has held true for all post-World War II recessions studied by American Business Press starting in 1949.

Mark your calendars for April 19! Registration is not required. Call 918-491-4731 for directions or further information.
