I guess this is as good a place as any for this:

Obama has largest lead yet (new Gallup):
http://www.gallup.com/poll/106537/Gallup-Daily-Obama-51-Clinton-40.aspx

Clinton lead narrowed in PA, Obama up by more in Indiana and SC:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aKMJtwpUTJtA&refer=worldwide

I'm surprised by that. While his comments did not offend me, I thought they might offend a large enough portion to be reflected in the polls.  Apparently not.

Or were enough people turned off by Clinton's attack response to off set it?  Surprises me anyway.

/thread jack.

Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

lol, I had just read the above articles and was considering posting them.  You gave me the opening!

In all honesty, I was surprised.  Obama screwed up and still gained... what gives?  His campaign is certainly in danger of being a cult of personality.

They polled rich San Francisco liberals:

"If you were working class and lived in Indiana, Pennsylvania, or South Carolina would you vote for Obama?"

Once again, you "thought wrong".

Happends a lot CF. Get out once in a while. see the real world. Quit being an arrogant know it all.

FOTD, I readily admit when I do not know and, case in point, accept and draw attention to situations where I am wrong.  I frequently thank people for corrections and often come to the conclusion that I disagree with someone but see their vantage.

Dislike my opinions, my arguments, or me all you want - but I have never held myself out as knowing it all.  I merely have the ability to research and learn various things coupled with a desire to express my opinion.  Which holds no more weight than any other well reasoned opinion.

But I appreciate the criticism from a dependently wealthy elitist that I should see the "real world."

Crap, i argued with you.  I'm a racist.

That's INdependently. You're the one who said that you stay in your own little world. Not me.

Arguing with me does not make you a racist. Listening to stupid racist talk shows and furthering their bull does make you one. You choose.

So I guess listening to Olbermann would make you a blithering idiot because I think he spews idiocy and hate toward the government?

What's the difference?

lol, totally busted.  In a post about not getting enough vacation I wrote "it's a sad little world I live in," or something to that effect.  I think on another occasion I missed seeing a new development and said something about "I rarely get out of my bubble" because my daily routine is to my boys school, to work, and home.

That clearly means that I am an arrogant closed minded fool who has never seen nor experienced the real world.

When you have a job you have to go to every day, a child you have to shuttle around, and people to worry about other than yourself -  go ahead and let me know how wild and crazy your daily adventures are (many people call such things "the real world").

Been there, done that.....on to saving the world.

Why do you always resort to personal attacks when you debate?

1) Lets see if we can go back and trace where this thread got off topic... hey, look there.  I found it!

2) This is not a debate.  A debate is a framed logical discussion of issues.  Here, there is no frame, no logic, no discussion and not even any issues.  What is it you contend we are debating?

3) What was the personal insult?  That I called you a "wealthy elitist?" Some day I (and most Americans) hope to be a wealthy elitist, so I fail to see that as a significant insult.  Ironically, it would seem only wealthy elitists take offense to the term.  [:P]  (see, that would be more of a minor jab than a personal attack, if even applicable)

4) Not knowing who you are, it would technically be impossible for me to personally attack you. I could engage in character assassination of your screen name(s), but not really attack you. Aside from that, I stand by and reiterate my assertion that I have thus far abstained from personal attacks.

5) Along the same lines, not knowing who you are and having never seen anything to the contrary, I was not aware that you had a job nor a family.    For some reason I thought to the contrary and that my prior assessment was correct.  In an anonymous environment the only way to educate me on your identity would be to correct my false assumptions.

Again, why are you the ONLY ONE ever labeling people as "racist" around here?  No other person engages in this type of behavior, yet out of the other side of your mouth you're complaining that people need to "transcend" the race issue.  Do you even understand the definition of the term "transcend?"
