Reggie Whitten is an attorney in Oklahoma City.  He was originally, like me, a strong John Edwards supporter.  He has become the principal fund raiser for the Oklahoma Democratic Party, helping to get it out of debt:

He was elected as an "add on" super delegate at the ODP State Convention on Feb. 23, 2008 at the recommendation of ODP Chair Dr. Ivan Holmes, currently an un-committed super delegate.

Whitten stated:

"While deciding to support Senator Obama, I thought of my history and my future. I'm from the small town of Seminole, Oklahoma: a city that is predominantly hard-working middle class citizens. It is important that our next President keep small towns like Seminole in mind when he talks about our economy. I am very sincere in my belief that Senator Obama will do just that. When I talk about my future, I, like most people, think of my children. The next administration will have a great deal to say about their future and the world they inherit. As a parent, I am confident Senator Obama has the courage, skill, and experience necessary to lead America forward."

One superdelegate, Reggie Whitten of Oklahoma, endorsed Mr. Obama on Tuesday because, he said, he believed the candidate needed a new public vote as the Clinton camp was battering him daily over the bitter remark.

"I don't think all of this divisiveness is helping him, so it was a good time to send a signal of support from a conservative state like Oklahoma that we believe in him," said Mr. Whitten, a lawyer from a suburb of Oklahoma City.
