T.World: Gov Henry endorses Obama

Why would the Bubbanor choose to vote against the express wishes of his Party's grassroots and announce his support for Borack Obama?

And here I was thinking the GOP was out of touch.  I get the idea of the proportional assigning of delegates, but the idea that a so-called superdelegate can essentially do his own thing and vote against the express wishes of his constituents is anything but democratic.

He is not an elected delegate.  As a super delegate he is encouraged to vote for whoever he sees as the best candidate.  When voters put him in office, they did not do so to cast his vote for Hillary.

I agree that the super delegate things is kind of strange.  The concept is sound but the number of super delegates gives them amazing power to over turn the election results.  Which is, if I'm not mistaken, exactly what you are hoping for in Colorado.

I think the idea of super delegates is outrageous. If these politicians were so concerned about making sure voters were not disenfranchised they would hold the primaries on one day instead of spread across several months so that every voter can vote for the candidate he or she wants to vote for instead of voting for leftovers and  make the primaries open only to voters no super delegates or anything similar to that.

For certain the system the Democrats are using is open for corruption.  "Uh, Governor Henry, if I'm elected President, I can help grease the skids for $1 bln in new federal highway money."

Sold to the highest bidder!

The open primary policy of both parties allows for wholesale lots of people to muck up the results (i.e. "operation chaos")
