You have your own beer?

I think the Fat tire thing is like forbidden fruit. We can't get it, so people think it's that much better.

If you want a good amber ale, the Full Sail amber is probably the best one out there right now. It's the nectar of the gods.

Paulaner Oktoberfest will always be one of the finest ambers around, although it is seasonal.

sgrizzle....you kill me.

that was funny.

I lived in Dillon CO for a while and had more than my share of Fat Tire.

I can't agree more with that forbidden fruit statement. Mediocre beer...and I've had enough to know.

The name is another big part of the demand. It's a cool name. See what a cool name does for you?

There's 1 beer that I love that McNellie's can't get....Bellhaven. Mmmm. I want one right now...at 10:42 in the morning.

Also, there's no Yuengling beer here. It's not bad.

The building that is being built at 41st and Garnett looks to be a fitting place for a anheuser-busch warehouse. Maybe thats it?

I currently have 4 cases of Yuengling Lager and 2 cases of Yuengling Black & Tan.

Had someone bring it back for me when they drove through Philly on their way back from Maine.

Now all you need are some blank invitations to send to me...for a party at your place.

Possible.  I work less than a mile from there and drive by it everyday to and from work.  I've wondered for a while what that was going to be.  Still wonder.

I can see that thing out of my office window.  Rumor has it that it's affiliated with Quik Trip, but now that I think about, the source of that rumor is consistently wrong about most everything.

So consider it a possibility. [;)]

Yeah the 41st location is too small for anheuser. From the sounds of this, this is a home for all the QT service trucks and personnel (the white pickups).

I am SO Jealous. I wish McNellie's could get Yuengling in. I emailed Elliot a while back and put in my request for it (never heard back from him though)

JoeMommaBlake

None of our local distributors can carry it.

My favorite beer that we can't get is Bellhaven. It's delicious.

If you want something we don't have, hit up local distributors. They'll have the real reasons why we can't get certain things. I've heard that Fat Tire has refrigerated shipping rules that our glorious ABLE commission wont allow.

Good catch.  Then QT it is.

A-B likes to ship by rail, so look for it to be near the tracks.  The present facility is off North Harvard on the SK&O in an industrial park developed by the Santa Fe in the late 50s/early 60s.
