I knew I had heard of this Rebecca Marks-Jimmerson person before... but it had nothing to do with "Pig Foot n' a Bottle of Beer" although the title sounded a little bit like a thing they use to do on "In Living Color"........
Then much to my Surprise some of my brain cells had a moment of clarity...

Ta... Daaa

Still confused............!??

Have a look at this article excerpt from the Tulsa World written during the LaFortune... Toure De Force..

The post held by Rebecca Marks-Jimerson, who performs community outreach and education, drew the most questions concerning her employment status, absences and wage agreement.

Marks-Jimerson holds two full-time jobs, one with the mayor's office and the other with Tulsa Community College.

Bird said the city has an agreement with TCC to split Marks-Jimerson's time 60-40, with her working 60 percent of the time for the city.

But Lauren Brookey, TCC vice president of external affairs, said after the meeting that there is no agreement with the city and that Marks-Jimerson works 60 percent of a full-time job at the college as counselor-coordinator of diverse student outreach.

Brookey said TCC employees can reduce their full-time employment status to 60 percent without losing benefits. TCC reduced her salary to $31,104 to reflect 60 percent of her full-time pay.

At the city, Marks-Jimerson is considered a full-time employee and is paid $42,996 without benefits for working 60 percent of a work week, Bird said.

Marks-Jimerson had been on medical leave from the city with full pay from December through May before returning June 1, Bird later told the Tulsa World.

During that 20-week period of medical leave from the city, she continued to work at TCC and even performed in a community play, which Marks-Jimerson said was encouraged by her physician as part of her recovery therapy for stress.

Marks-Jimerson was absent from TCC one week in January and about six weeks starting April 18, Brookey said.

She was the gal that figured out how to get paid full time by two places at the same time...

Don't tell anyone but I may go see them just to see if I can learn how to do this...And if I have to drink a "Pig Foot n' a Bottle of Beer" to get the $Dinero$.... I may do that too....!

She was also the celebrity runner for the Tulsa Run one year.

I have heard her sing, she used to perform with Kathy LaFortune and two others.

Darrell Christopher is very good. I went to college with him and he was always a great singer and performer. Sounds like an interesting show.
Power is nothing till you use it.
