She worked for 57 years.  She didn't run out on the people who elected her so she could become a media star.   She appologized for a stupid remark and then gracefully stepped down.  This is far from the same thing as several members of a certain political party. 

Correction:  Her media outlet fired her. . .then she gracefully stepped down.

What kept running thru my mind as I watched her remarks was. Isnt she just a little close to that camera. Is that what they mean when they say making love to the camera. Frightening really.
