Join moderntulsa for an evening of American Streamlined Design. Modern Tulsa and the Philbrook Museum of Art have joined forces again to offer you the chance to view the new American Streamlined Design; The World of Tomorrow exhibition free of charge February 15th from 6 – 8pm.

The twentieth century reveled in machines and the speed they made possible. Sleek aerodynamic styling embodied a new and modern beauty. From the late 1920...s to the 1950s, streamlining became the popular American design idiom for objects ranging from toy scooters to typewriters. This exhibition features more than 180 objects by such designers as Raymond Loewy, Henry Dreyfuss, Norman Bel Geddes and Walter Dorwin Teague.

Spend the evening with us as we celebrate the beauty of streamlined design, and be eligible for 15% discounts on yearly memberships for both Philbrook and Modern Tulsa.

No cost to attend, but an RSVP is required here:http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=178358775535396.

Refreshments will be available.

Hope to see you there!
