On a related note, the Norman weather office noted last Friday some medium range model forecasts indicated this next outbreak (Thursday) may resemble, in dynamics, the setup from June 8, 1974.

I was 7 years old, with my parents visiting my Uncle that evening....who happened to live at about 49th and Peoria.  And still live there.  My first recollection of a tornado.

Everyone stay safe.

Glad y'all like these. We've been experimenting with the software recently (attempting to get all employees comfortable doing it)...and it's pretty easy to put together a quick 2-3 minute briefing or summary.

I'm sure we'll eventually have routine issuances. We've been getting great feedback.

Charky,  if you have anything to do with keeping them coming, KEEP IT UP!!!  I personally know about a dozen folks who watch for these updates often.  They are very informative and best of all, they keep the "myths" and gossip about strange weather events to a min.

Thanks again for doing these.
