Anyone out there get a new iphone 3G? If you would like to sell your first generation iphone, please let me know. Mine bit the dust and I just want to get another first gen rather than upgrading.

take an old one with the new 2.0 software and combine that with the free wifi att is getting ready to throw out there and you have a phone basically as good as the new one.  the 3G speeds on the new iphone are worse than my Treo 750.

the old ones are having issues with 2.0.  Do you have AT*T service or are you needing on unlocked? Also check out craigslist.  I am waiting on my 3G to arrive and then will be selling mine.

I don't really care about upgrading the service. That's why I am not just buying a new one. I just want to continue the current service I have. Right now I am using a friend's Motorola. It sucks. I am having serious withdrawals. The phone does not have to be unlocked. And I would be very happy with a 4G rather than the 8G. That's what I had before. TU... let me know when you get your new one.

you are one of the lucky ones then! There is a 2page thread about people's V1 iphone on 2.0 crashing, slow, sometimes will connect to wifi, sometimes it wont, etc etc.  What did you do with your 2 old iphones??
