I especially like the little gen at the end of the article

"Sen. Biden's spokeswoman, Margaret Aitken, declined to comment, calling it a private, family matter."

Plainly, Biden's daughter has anger control issues, disrespects the police, and perhaps a problem with alcohol. The media will certainly get to the bottom of Biden's failure as a parent. Maybe we need DNA testing to determine if his daughter is in fact his, I mean, just to make sure that this aggression is not hereditary.

"When police tried to arrest another person, Biden blocked the officer's path and made intimidating statements, officer JoAnn Taylor said."

Lemme guess what she said:

"Do you know who I am??? My daddy is a very powerful U.S. Senator, you're going to lose your ****ing job over this!!!!  I'm going to make you wish you never met me!!!!!

How's my aim?

Missing the point is your strong suit, along with failed logic.

Palin gets vetted by the media because McCain failed to do so, and because he picked someone obscure.  What did you expect?  That everyone would accept the spoonfed bio created by the GOP?

Had Obama or Biden suddenly appeared on the national stage, are you saying the media wouldn't investigate?

This is a problem created by the decision-making of John McCain and proof positive that he lacks the judgment necessary to be president.

I love this.

The neocons are blaming the lefties for bullying Palin when it's the media, the same media that made McCain it's darling during the primary runs.  Most right-wingers would have you believe that everything coming out derogatory about Palin are coming from 'the left-wing kooks' that they despise.

Looks to me like the media has turned on the McCain camp.  Have you seen the Obama camp make any mention of these events other than to say 'hands off'?

The Dems won't have to do anything; it appears the Republicans are starting to self-destruct, much like what happened to the Dems four years ago during the Swift Boating...

McCain has a hard decision to make this week about his 'properly vetted' choice for Veep.

No doubt, Biden just cannot stop talking about Palin.  All the liberal bloggers?  Secretly Biden.  Trooper-Gate?  Biden.  The Wasilla police chief that Palin fired?  Biden.  The AIP?  Biden.  Clouding McCain's judgment?  Biden.  Making Bristol sleep with Levi?  Biden.  He's mad I tell you!

And he didn't even look pregnant with his daughter, but the press isn't asking questions!

This is so not fair!  Whaaaaaa!

"Squawk squawk squawk.... maverick.... america first..... blah blah blah.... home run (yeah, maybe in Little League).... gripe gripe gripe...  liberal media... sexism...."

I never thought I'd see the day when a Republican candidate for president would choose a VP who was the equivalent of Geraldine Ferraro.  Let's just call that choice.... wait for it....... HISTORIC!

The MSM didn't bother, or did a very poor job of, investigating Obama until he was on the verge of clinching the nomination.  The left crew at MSNBC certainly didn't.  His associations with Rezko, Wright, and Ayers were largely ignored though Fright-wingers like Hannity were on to this a year ago or longer.

Obama got a pass with the media and continues to.  No one in the MSM seems terribly interested in looking further into Biden's potential corruption issues, there are red flags all over his finances, his associations, and his voting record.

Other than sitting on a board that happened to include Ayers, and a $200 campaign donation, what exactly is Obama's connection?  I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

Similar question with Wright.  Can you cite where Obama endorsed his ideology?  Palin's church welcomed Jews for Jesus to preach as recently as Aug. 17, with Palin in attendance, but you don't see me claiming that she endorses their ideology.

And Rezko - given the investigation by the feds (under a GOP executive with a proclivity for political targeting), do you really think they would just let something slide?

Same with the Clintons.  Do you believe Bill and Hillary held back?  Really, what more do you need to know about Obama?

Just because you can't find it, doesn't mean you missed it.

Quick thought:

On Ayers, Obama got his political start at Ayers' home and Obama's campaign also referred to Ayers as "mainstream." Geez, What did Ayers say? Oh yeah, "I don't regret setting bombs," and "I feel we [Weather Underground] didn't do enough" Now where is that picture of that coward standing on the American flag? Yep, that's "mainstream" to me. How about you?

On Wright, attending that church for 20 years is not an endorsement of Wright's message? I guess his attendance was instead some sort of quiet civil disobedience. Where's that photo with Obama's arm around Wright smiling?

Good enough for ya.

Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Then there's the Assemblies of God Church I grew up with.......

Palin: Iraq war 'a task that is from God'
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_palin_iraq_war

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a "task that is from God."

In an address last June, the Republican vice presidential candidate also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it "God's will."

Palin asked the students to pray for the troops in Iraq, and noted that her eldest son, Track, was expected to be deployed there.

"Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God," she said. "That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's plan."

A video of the speech was posted at the Wasilla Assembly of God's Web site before finding its way on to other sites on the Internet.

Palin told graduating students of the church's School of Ministry, "What I need to do is strike a deal with you guys." As they preached the love of Jesus throughout Alaska, she said, she'd work to implement God's will from the governor's office, including creating jobs by building a pipeline to bring North Slope natural gas to North American markets.

"God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that," she said.

"I can do my job there in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded," she added. "But really all of that stuff doesn't do any good if the people of Alaska's heart isn't right with God."

Palin attended the evangelical church from the time she was a teenager until 2002, the church said in a statement posted on its Web site. She has continued to attend special conferences and meetings there. Religious conservatives have welcomed her selection as John McCain's running mate.

Rob Boston, a spokesman for Americans United for Separation of Church and State, lamented Palin's comments.

"I miss the days when pastors delivered sermons and politicians delivered political speeches," he said. "The United States is increasingly diverse religiously. The job of a president is to unify all those different people and bring them together around policy goals, not to act as a kind of national pastor and bring people to God."

The section of the church's Web site where videos of past sermons were posted was shut down Wednesday, and a message was posted saying that the site "was never intended to handle the traffic it has received in the last few days."
