If it fills seats that's great.

My a** won't be in one of them but I hope it does well.

I love them... and everyone I know called me as soon as they heard the news.

Then I told them ticket prices.

the bartenders know how to pour drinks at the "renovated" brady

i'm pretty sure that was the only thing that got renovated.

My girlfriend wants to see Duran Duran but doesn't want to go because it's at the Brady. I asked her what the problem was, she said it was because they don't let you stand/dance at that venue.

Is this true? If so, real lame. I mean I get why they would enforce no standing/dancing if Yo Yo Ma was playing but "pop" concerts?

Not so.  The owner is spending a huge chunk of money on the place.  I'm very involved in the overhaul of mechanical systems there.

That would likely be at the artists discretion. Ask folks who saw Widespread Panic the other night if they hand to sit in the seats.

Just like any other concert, depends on the seating. I've been to all sit-down concerts at the brady and I've been to some with standing area. As for dancing, it's not a rave.

Has Steely Dan ever come to Tulsa?  That is one that I would lay down some cash for.
