Sustainable Tulsa will present the Second Annual 2010 SalsaFest at the Chapman Centennial Green (SW Corner of 6th & Boston), in the heart of downtown Tulsa, on Friday, June 18, 2010. SalsaFest is a fundraiser for Sustainable Tulsa, a 501(c)3 organization that promotes responsible economic growth, environmental stewardship, and quality of life for all.

The event is free and last year saw about 1,500 people come out, participate and enjoy the variety of activities.

In addition to the salsa tasting and judging, this years event will feature last year's very popular chili-pepper eating contest (at 7:45 p.m.) and a new event: the Chihuahua costume contest and race (7 p.m.).

120 Development Group, LLC is proud to help sponsor such a worthwhile event and cause.  Come enjoy the event, the park and the downtown energy that is building with every new activity.

A special thanks to Libby Auld, a Sustainable Tulsa board member and SalsaFest chairwoman, as well as owner of Elote's restaurant for allowing us to participate.  Btw, she won last year I heard...the competition is on!
