Well, today was an interesting morning. After standing at the bus stop for about 30 minutes, somebody drove by and told me that the bus would be between two and three hours late. Of course I didn't believe this person, but as I walked inside, I immediately got a call saying that all the buses had been vandalized, and that buses would run two to three hours late. I was dissapointed that I was taken to school. Today was a day that I actually wanted to ride the bus. But, I think people are really making too big of a deal out of this. The district has said they will press charges on the offender(s). Oh come on...the buses weren't damaged, and ut was senior skip day. Just suspend them for a few days and give 'em two weeks of lunch detention. No need for a criminal record. And it wasn't me, I'm not a senior.....

Come on!  Bus tires don't cost that much.  Only about $400 a piece.  :o

When attacked by a mob of clowns, always go for the juggler.

I know that. If they would have slashed the tires, it would have costs thousands and thousands of dollars to replace. Since they did not slash them though, I don't see the need for criminal punishment.

Do you have to buy new ones when air is let out of them?  Surely they didnt try to drive on them.

It's good they didnt throw toilet paper in any trees 'cause then they would have to be cut down...  ::)

The news on NBC stated "slashed" this morning but have since changed to "flattened".

It's funny how the news is always wrong on initial reports. Channel 6 said the buses were up and running, at 6:45.

The school district was throwing around some number like $40K or $400K in damage, so you have to wonder whose big buttocks that was pulled from.
