SI.com is reporting that the Big East(?) Conference will add Houston, SMU, UCF, San Diego State, and Boise State for the 2013 football season. Since three of the new teams are from Conference USA, where will that leave Tulsa?

On the name, if the 12 team Big 10, the 12 team Pac 10, and the 9 team Big 12 can keep their old names, why not call a conference with San Diego State the Big East? San Diego is east of Honolulu, anyway.

What a farce college football is.

I sure Connecticut will be trying to close the season in San Diego at the end of November or first of December.
Trust but verify

Why anybody would want powderpuffs in their conference, I'll never figure out.
