I wouldn't use the HOW foundation for anything but picking up dog poop. Several yrs ago I used them to help me move and it was total chaos. One of their recruits worked for a handyman service which I used and he and his drunken partner totally ruined my house I paid the company they worked for good money to do several repairs and the work was so shabby and so sub par. They even left in the middle of the day with MY big ladder because one of their stupid drivers got a truck caught under a car wash.

They did our trees a couple of weeks ago. I'm very pleased.

I read this old thread to get recommendations for removing a tree at my house. I wanted to post my results in case anyone else searches the forum and finds this thread. I got estimates from three companies that were recommended by TulsaNow folks: We B Trees, S & W Tree Specialists, and Kimble Davis Tree Company. All three had certified arborists look at the job.

Kimble Davis was the most expensive by over $500 and his price did not include hauling off the stump grindings. We B Trees and S & W quoted the same price, but S & W offered a discount for having the work done in the winter. I went with the lowest price, S & W, and they did a fine job removing the tree, grinding the stump several inches below grade and hauling off the grindings to ground level.

i guess that's why it pays to get multiple quotes, a friend of ours used Kimble Davis about a month ago and he was still much much less than the other two quotes.
