Have any of you eaten at Texas De Brazil in Dallas? This article says they cook table side with an open flame using charcoal. Just curious how they would vent that out inside of Woodland Hills Mall.

I've been several times while I lived in Dallas.  Very good Churascaria-style all-you-can-eat restaurant.   I only went on work-related events when we were taking clients out, because I tend to go overboard in places like that, but it's really good food.

But to clarify the wording of the article:  "Meat is prepared over an open flame and carved table-side..."  The open flame is not table-side, the carving is.  The bring the meat out on these long kebab-style sticks and cut/serve you as much as you want.  They do the grilling in the kitchen (and if I remember correctly there may be a few "presentation" grills situated throughout the place), and all the grilling areas are well-vented to outside so as not to smoke up the place.

There is a semi-outparcel restaurant space, think it used to be Panera

But MUCH better.  I never ate there, even when I lived in Dallas, but even Dallas people love this place.  A bit of a novelty, but delicious cuts of meat.

As for how they will vent?  Not sure, but there used to be a Picadilly(sp) in the mall, and it had no issues, so it'll get done.

The Gaucho restaurant in Tulsa is at 61st and Sheridan. It is a fun dining experience for meat eaters. It is only open for dinner and is $35 a person Tuesday through Thursday and $40 a person on Friday and Saturday.

When I asked them in May, their tentative timeframe was October 2015.

Not sure what it is, but there is major renovation/expansion for what appears to be a restaurant by the SE mall entrance, which has the worst parking.

What mall is this or is it a secret?
