I think that would have worked better if he waited until after he won and was sworn into a second term.

The September 10 debate was somewhat predictable:

Trump: "In Springfield, they're eating the dogs — the people that came in — they're eating the cats. They're eating — they're eating the
pets of the people that live there. And this is what's happening in our country, and it's a shame."

Details: Officials in Springfield, Ohio, say they have not received any credible reports of Haitian immigrants abducting and eating pets,
despite viral claims on social media that have been amplified this week by Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance and others.

Trump: "Well, the reason I'm doing that vote is because the plan is, as you know, the vote is, they have abortion in the ninth month. They even have, and you can look at the governor of West Virginia, the previous governor of West Virginia, not the current governor, who's doing an excellent job, but the governor before. He said the baby will be born and we will decide what to do with the baby. In other words, we'll execute the baby." https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2024/sep/13/instagram-posts/abc-moderators-fact-check-of-trump-was-about-postb/

Stephen Miller, famous for his role as the architect of Trump's first-term immigration policy, took things a step further and had to force himself to walk away from a conversation with a Hispanic reporter after raising his voice repeatedly and yelling angrily that Kamala Harris was responsible for a supposed epidemic of child rape (one that is wholly imaginary) which he then blamed on immigrants.

"Why are you yelling at me?" the reporter asked Miller, who near-screamed at the man and asked him if he had any "remorse" for children who were supposedly being murdered and raped.

It should also be pointed out that these Haitian immigrants are LEGAL immigrants. There's no more pretense that this is about illegal immigrants.  They hate brown immigrants. Period.

'On June 10, 2020, Routh's apparent X profile directed a post on X at Trump in which he said had supported Trump in the 2016 presidential election but that Trump had become a "disappointment." The post concluded, "I will be glad when you are gone."'

QuoteFCC chair rejects Trump call to pull ABC licenses over presidential debate

Trump claimed the debate was "rigged" because the ABC News moderators fact checked several comments he made.

They hate brown anything, immigrant or not.   And red, yellow, black, etc.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

karen keith and her british nazi friends hate everyone who is an immigrant that is not from England, who is disabled, who is not white, who doesnt have a british surname, and who is not christian. i have been taking snapshots of posts that Karen Keith has been deleting on this forum and facebook because she and her british nazi friends fear the truth about them.

I would call you a "spammer" but that would be an insult to Hormel Foods makers of Spam and fans of Monty Python would be seriously offend.

Can't even call you a polished turd for the same reason.

i see you hate Monroe Nichols so much! Vote for Monroe Nichols!!!

Listen David Cardone, juan, Jenn, Chloe, Yvonne or whatever name you change to next, you seem to have a very judgemental, prejudiced, biased, bigoted, narrow minded, superiority complex view. You seem to be everything you rail against. You remind me of people that I knew that attended Victory Christian.

That's all I have to say.

We need better mental health care in this country. I hope he/she gets help. Just leave them alone.

Agreed. I've thought that for years, but thats a subject for another thread another time. Was just being a bit ornery, no need in continuing it so I let it go.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Monday that former President Donald Trump has promised him "control" of HHS and the Department of Agriculture, according to a video obtained by POLITICO.
Speaking at a virtual event, the former presidential candidate said "the key that President Trump has promised me is control of the public health agencies, which are HHS and its sub-agencies, CDC, FDA, NIH, and a few others ... and then also the USDA."

Donald Trump suggested vaccines could be banned if he becomes president, in the clearest sign yet of a radical shake-up in public health policy should he put his ally Robert F Kennedy Jr in charge of it.
Kennedy, who sits on Trump's transition team, claimed last week that he had been promised "control" over a range of public health and food safety agencies, including the department of health and human services, the centre for disease control and the food and drug administration.
Howard Lutnick, the co-chair of Trump's campaign, gave further credence to the weight Kennedy's views might carry in an administration when he told CNN that he could be given access to federal data on vaccines safety.
"He says, 'If you give me the data, all I want is the data, and I'll take on the data and show that it's not safe,'" Lutnick said. "Let's give him the data. I think it'll be pretty cool to give him the data. Let's see what he comes up with. I think it's pretty fun."
