Someone stole my Yahoo account!!!

On Friday night I checked my email on Yahoo and everything was fine.  Saturday morning we went out of town for the weekend.

Come back home Sunday night and decided to check my mail (didn't take the PC with us), and could not get on Yahoo. Kept trying over and over again, but still nothing. I use one password for all my accounts (mistake?), so DH sets up his stuff to verify that indeed I had been using the correct password. However, someone had changed it!

Since then, I've written to Yahoo security a zillion times and only get their stupid automated response. This account is so special and dear to me. This is the account my dad used to write me at since back in 1998 I have all my bank info and things we bought on that account. Some horrible person stole my password.

I believe that it could have been from a forum I had joined but later dropped out of and deleted my profile. Can an Admin of a forum use whatever technology they have and expertise to SEE a person's password on the forum? Stupid me (please slap me as well), used the SAME password on that forum as my email password!! No, don't slap. Please KICK AND KICK HARD! How could I be so dumb?

Now for the best part. Yahoo insists I send in the date of birth I used to sign up with. Hello! I hardly ever use real name or birth dates on email for fear that they could be stolen and really get into trouble. That account was made back in 1998 so I cannot remember what zip code I used, far less a birth date.

Anyone knows how I could get around this? I keep asking the dummies to send me my secret question, and that I'd be willing to send them a copy of my driver's license, and even have something signed saying who I am. They could check the bloody IP for crying out loud! Yet, they are not stopping whoever got into my account!!!!
